What’s New: Plan Vs Actual Report and Other Enhancements Released

Hey Orangescrummers! We’re excited to announce that we have a new feature for our product: “Plan vs Actual.” It’s exciting because it is something you’ve been asking for, and even more so when that request is one of your customers.

Last time, we released the Team Utilization report that gives you a quick overview of your team’s workload. The report allows you to see who is overworked and those who could take on more work – ultimately helping you meet project deadlines.

This enhancement will make collaborating on projects simpler and more efficient.

Plan vs Actual Report

The plan vs actual report within Orangescrum gives you a quick look at the task statuses that are assigned to the resources or team as providing the details of the planned due date vs the actual completing date — ultimately helping you meet project deadlines.

Users just can find the plan vs actual report on the “All Report” page.

By clicking on the Plan vs Actual tab, the users are directly redirected to the plan vs actual details page or report dashboard.

Plan vs Actual Report

The report shows:

  • Task Title
  • Associated Project Name
  • Task Assigned Resource Name
  • Associated Task  Group
  • Last Task Updated Date
  • Task Status
  • Original Due Date
  • Current Due Date
  • Difference from Orginal Date

Other Enhancements

  • Included Story Points while creating Sub-stories
  • In Sprint Overview now showing Hours Estimate/actual log time beside Done label
  • In backlog now showing Hours Estimate/actual log time in Done label
  • Work-flow Status is removed from the task list and task group view 3dot icon and are available under the Status button
  • Label move while task/s are moved or copy form within the project or across the project
  • Defect entry with minimum selected fields
  • Tasks stay in their prioritization/ in their position in backlog and active sprint page after edit
  • Able to delete editor images from the task detail page
