Orangescrum is committed to providing the best project management experience, constantly improving our platform to enhance productivity and efficiency for our users.
In this update, we’re excited to share that we have fixed two significant bugs affecting resource utilization metrics and recurring task hour calculations.
Everything seemed fine When users created tasks, added estimated hours, and logged hours.
However, if labels were added to these tasks, the hours spent displayed in the resource utilization metrics would be incorrectly multiplied by the number of labels added.
A user creates a task and logs for 2 hours. If they add 2 labels to the task, the resource utilization metrics would incorrectly display 4 hours spent instead of the correct 2 hours.
The additional labels were unintentionally multiplying the logged hours, causing confusion and inaccuracies in reporting.
We have addressed and resolved this issue. Now, no matter how many labels you add to a task, the hours logged will display correctly in the resource utilization metrics, ensuring your time tracking is accurate.
Users who created recurring tasks encountered an issue when updating the logged hours.
For instance, if a recurring task was originally set for 2 hours/day over 4 days (totaling 8 hours), but was later updated to 1 hour/day for 4 days (totaling 4 hours), the system would still display incorrect total hours, sometimes showing random figures instead of the correct updated hours.
This bug has been fixed. Now, when you update the hours for a recurring task, the system will reflect the correct total hours, providing consistent and reliable tracking across all recurring tasks.
These fixes are a direct result of the invaluable feedback we’ve received from our users. Consequently, with these bugs now resolved, you can enjoy a more precise and reliable project tracking experience. This improvement makes it even easier to manage resources, track time efficiently, and ensure that your projects remain on schedule.
Moreover, at Orangescrum, we are always striving to enhance your project management experience. This update is just one of many steps we’re taking toward that goal. We truly appreciate your patience as we continuously work to optimize our platform to better meet your needs.
Additionally, stay tuned for more updates as we keep refining and enhancing Orangescrum!
