What is Docker?

Docker containers wrap a piece of software in a complete file system that contains everything needed to run: code, run-time, system tools, system libraries – anything that can be installed on a server. This guarantees that the software will always run the same, regardless of its environment.

How to install Orangescrum in Mac & Windows through Docker?

First you need to download the “Docker Toolbox” (select Mac or Windows as per your requirement) & execute the dockertoolbox.exe file. 

After you have installed the Docker Toolbox, click on the Kitematic icon to start the Docker VM. It will connect you to Docker Hub.

Now search “orangescrum/official” in the search tool to find the official Orangescrum repository & click to create the official build of Orangescrum.

Click on Start & then “EXEC” when container status is running. Write the following command into the terminal “sh start.sh” & now you can see the web preview icon on top right corner & click on it.

Here you go! Orangescrum is now successfully installed on your environment. Sign up & create your project & tasks.
